Who loves a roasty, toasty fire pit or campfire? (everybody!)
Who likes the smell of chemical logs or starter fluid? ( nobody!)
We’ll gather ’round in the workshop together to use every-day household supplies to make some easy, lightweight, portable fire starters that are small enough to fit in your pocket. These work great to quickly catch a flame and hold it long enough to get the rest of your wood going strong. We’ll also review fire safety for the youngsters, whip up a batch of homemade marshmallows, and roast a few before you go.
You’ll bring home a stack of your own starters and a bag of those homemade marshmallows! Start your summer off right and get ready for all of those campfire nights!
Young people are welcome at no cost with their supervising adult.
